The 2024 OTI Symposium will be held 23-25 August 2024 in Waco, Texas. This will be in conjunction with the 2024 Southwest Association of Woodturners (SWAT) Conference.
The Master of Ceremonies is Brad Davis.
By holding the OTI Symposium with SWAT, the OTI will not have to handle all the administrative work (and risk) of planning our Symposium separately. SWAT will be providing OTI areas were we can hold our conference sessions and we can have a separate vendor area if that is desired. And SWAT are handling all the administrative duties for enrollment and blocking hotel rooms.
You will need to sign up for the 2024 SWAT conference once that becomes available. The web link for SWAT is: www.swaturners.org. A ticket to SWAT will also provide entry into the OTI Symposium; there will be no extra charge.
We will have a separate awards dinner, and there will be a charge for that, but that is the only additional cost. We will send out more about that once we have more details.
So please go ahead and block your calendars for late August in 2024. It will be great to see everyone again in person. It has been too long since we met in Seattle.
